POSITION
The Spiaggia del Riso Camping Village is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in southeastern Sardinia, directly on the beach of the same name. Located between the tourist port of Villasimius and the renowned Campulongu beach, the complex enjoys an ideal location to fully enjoy the nature of the region. Nestled in a 60,000-square-meter pine forest and part of the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area, the campground è a perfect starting point for excursions in the surrounding area. The lively center of Villasimius and numerous archaeological sites, such as the prehistoric Domus de Janas, the Nuraghi and the imposing Fortezza Vecchia, evidence of the Aragonese and Savoy periods, are in close proximity. The crystal-clear waters and gently sloping sandy beach also make the place ideal for families with children.

ACCOMMODATION
The campground offers a wide choice of accommodations for all needs, from traditional camping to comfortable lodges. For those who prefer traditional camping, 217 sites are available, including shaded tent sites, smaller areas for igloo tents, areas for caravans and RVs, and exclusive sites right by the sea. Sanitary facilities are distributed throughout the campground and consist of four buildings with hot showers (for a fee), outdoor showers, toilets, washing and dishwashing areas, coin-operated washing machines, and fish cleaning tanks.

Those seeking more comfort can choose from several permanent accommodations in the pine forest. The cozy Back Banana (30 m², up to 5 persons) and Sloth (32 m², up to 5 persons) bungalows are made of wood and have covered terraces. Also available are mobile homes (22 m², for up to 3 persons) that offer a true suite atmosphere, as well as brick rooms (12 m², for 2-3 persons) that offer the comfort of a hotel. Pod tents (6 m², for 2 people) are also available for a special couple experience. All types of accommodations can be booked with hotel service (breakfast, half board or full board), some of which include daily housekeeping.

SERVICES
At the Spiaggia del Riso Camping Village, everything è has been designed to ensure a carefree and enjoyable vacation. The centerpiece of the culinary offer è is the restaurant-pizzeria La Sorgente, which offers self-service at lunch and a la carte dishes in the evening. Take-out meals are also available, ideal for a relaxed meal on your own private veranda or under the pine forest.

Two bars, including one directly on the beach, offer refreshments from morning until midnight. A well-stocked supermarket with butcher's shop and newsstand satisfies daily needs. For fun and activity, a children's playground, tennis court, soccer field, forest life trail, and 24 barbecue areas are available. The sanitary facilities are modern, well-maintained and partially wheelchair accessible.

During the high season, from mid-June to mid-September, a dedicated entertainment team offers a varied program: games, workshops, shows and sports competitions ensure that children and adults never get bored. The camp è also an ideal starting point for excursions by land and water. Popular activities include boat trips to the Capo Carbonara marine protected area, diving and snorkeling at the statue of the Madonna del Naufrago, and horseback riding or biking through the surrounding countryside and archaeological sites.
