PLACEMENT
Camping Kiefernhain*** is nestled in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, on the edge of the charming village of Prato allo Stelvio, in the Val Venosta valley in South Tyrol. Situated at an altitude of around 900 m, it offers breathtaking views of the majestic peaks of the Ortles massif and the Venost Alps. Surrounded by the peaceful pine forest that gives the campsite its name, it is in the immediate vicinity of the Prato fishing lakes and the protected Prader Sand nature reserve. The forest garden and municipal swimming pool, both adjacent to the campsite, complete this family-friendly atmosphere. Thanks to its strategic position, Kiefernhain is an excellent starting point for hikes, bike tours, motorcycle rides and discovery of the nearby Alpine landscapes, including the emblematic Stelvio Pass.

HÉBERGEMENTS
The campsite offers two main types of pitch: pitch A and pitch B. Pitch A, with a surface area ranging from 80 to 90 m², is perfectly suited to large family tents, caravans or motor homes up to 7.5 mètres. Spacious and well delimited by natural stones or trees, these pitches offer both sunny areas and shady spots under the pine trees, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The smaller B pitch (between 60 and 70 m²) is suitable for more compact tents, vans or motorhomes up to 6.5 m&, and offers pleasant shade during the summer. Both types of pitch have 220V electricity (6A CEE plug), nearby water points, free chemical toilet emptying with the CamperClean system, and fast fiber-optic Wi-Fi access throughout the site. The sanitary facilities are meticulously maintained, and it is possible to book a private bathroom for an additional charge.

SERVICES
Camping Kiefernhain offers a wide range of services designed to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. Guests have free access to Prato allo Stelvio's outdoor municipal swimming pool, adjacent to the campsite, open from late May to late August. It features a heated pool, a 42-metre waterslide, water games for children, a paddling pool and large lawns for sunbathing and lounging, with a snack bar at your disposal. Children can also enjoy a playground. Clean sanitary facilities are available at all times, and private bathrooms can be provided as an option. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the site. Once a week, a barbecue evening with music is organized, ideal for sharing a convivial moment with fellow holidaymakers.

ACTIVITIES AND RECREATION
The area around Camping Kiefernhain offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. The Stelvio National Park offers a variety of hiking trails, from family-friendly walks in the valley to more demanding excursions at altitudes of up to 3900 meters. Cycling enthusiasts can enjoy mountain bike trails, e-bike tours or legendary mountain routes such as the ascent of the Stelvio Pass. Families can discover Alpine fauna such as marmots and bearded vultures, and explore the Prader Sand water park. A children’s entertainment program, called PradKids, offers fun and games for youngsters, while adults can take the historic Via Claudia Augusta cycle path, visit Glorenza, Italy’s smallest town, or admire the submerged bell tower on Lake Resia.
